Most of us knew that Landon would wear the #10 shirt for the U.S. this summer in South Africa, but it was unknown what number Edson would wear, especially after donning the #29 shirt in the friendly against the Czech Republic.
However, all of that has been cleared up as the U.S. has officially unveiled their squad numbers for the World Cup, with Edson snagging his trademark #14 shirt. As we said, Landon will wear #10, but this will be the first time that he has worn the shirt in a World Cup, with Claudio Reyna claiming it in both 2002 and 2006, leaving Landon to wear #21.
You can see all of the U.S. squad numbers here and if you want to have your own U.S. jersey customized, be sure to stop by the Team LA store at The Home Depot Center. Even better, do it on Saturday evening so you can get your shirt customized and see the Galaxy take on the Dynamo at 5 p.m.
