Mekedatu

I Love to travell specially if the places is adventures like Mekedatu. Me along with my friends had booked a Qualis for the journey. We started on our journey at 9:10 AM. The route to reach Sangam is via Kanakapura. Since we were unsure about the availability of food at Sangam, we had our breakfast at a hotel in Kanakapura.
here are some excited images.

‘Mekedatu’ is the place where the Kaveri (Cauvery) River flows through a narrow ravine. Legend has it that the channel was so narrow that sheep would jump across, and hence the name Mekedatu (Meke = sheep/goat, datu = cross in Kannada).

Hydrabad The City of Navabs'

Hyderabad, the capital city of Andhra Pradesh is a bustling 400-year-old metropolis with an urban population of 4.2 million people approximately. Hyderabad is located on the Deccan Plateau and the Musi River, 650m above sea level. The physiography of Hyderabad is dominated by hills, tanks, forests, and rock formations

                                                                      Kilwat Palace
The fabulous Nizams’ jewels, which have been taken back to be stored in the vaults of the Reserve Bank of India in Mumbai, are expected to be permanently housed in the famous Khilwat Palace, part of the Chowmohalla Palace complex in the Old City

                                                          Chowmahalla palace
Chowmahalla Palace or Chowmahallat (4 Palaces), was a palace belonging to the Nizams of Hyderabad state. It was the seat of the Asaf Jahi dynasty and was the official residence of the Nizam. The palace is unique for its style and elegance. Building of the palace began in the late 18th century and over the decades a synthesis of many architectural styles and influences emerged.
This palace consists of two courtyards, southern courtyard and northern courtyard. They have elegant palaces, the grand Khilwat (the Durbar Hall), fountains and gardens.
The palace originally covered 45 acres, but only 14 acres remain today

                                                              Falaknuma palace
Falaknuma Palace is one of the finest palaces in Hyderabad, India. It is located in Falaknuma, 5 km. from Charminar was built by Nawab Vikar-ul-Umra, the then Prime Minister of Hyderabad.[1] Falaknuma literally means "Star of Heaven" in Urdu. The Nizam VI in 1898 used the palace as a royal guest house as it had a commanding view of the entire city. As the Nizam liked the guest house, the Falaknuma palace was gifted to the sixth Nizam of Hyderabad, Mehboob Ali Khan by the generous Nawab Sir Vicar Ul Umra. Amir e Paigah Sir Vicar Ul Umra(prime minister of Hyderabad and Berar) used this palace as his private residence till it changed owners and the palace was handed over to H.H.The 6th Nizam of Hyderabad in 1897-1898

The Hyderabad city is cosmopolitan, and is richly endowed with a variety of cultures. While Muslim people are concentrated more towards the old city like Charminar, Secunderabad has got a more contemporary look with a concentration of Anglo-Indians. The city of Hyderabad presents an attractive amalgam of old world charm together with the ebullience of growth and enterprise. Beautiful old edifices built in the medieval, Mughal, Colonial and Indo-Saracenic styles abound, rubbing shoulders with large glass and chrome temples of commerce. Read More About Hyderaba

nitu chndra, new way to get publisity

people do lots of things to get fame or publisity weather by faire means or unfaire. Neetu Chandra’s Hottest Photoshoot Creates Controversy — The Man Magazine recently, when actress Neetu Chandra (Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye! fame) agreed to do a bold photo shoot for a men’s magazine, she hardly realised it would spark controversy and outrage from political affiliates.

Neetu, who had agreed to do hot and sexy cover for ‘The Man’ magazine, was shooting along with model Krishikha Gupta outside the lobby of a 3-star hotel, when a group of the hotel’s regular male customers watching it by the pool, suddenly started raising strong objections, by indiscriminately shouting at her and the magazine crew. But only when things spiraled into an ugly argument and the group started screaming “Jai Maharashtra” at the top of their lungs, did the magazine’s team and Neetu realize that things were out of their control.

Alleging that the shoot was promoting lesbianism, the group began getting aggressive and tried to physically harm the shooting crew. They claimed to have connections with Raj Thackeray’s Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) and threatened an agitation. They even tried to confiscate the camera, resulting in the shoot having to be abruptly called off.

“Though the concept about two girls getting very intimate was a bit outrageous, we were doing it very aesthetically. But these men were a frustrated lot and couldn’t take the heat. They only saw nudity in our concept,” fires Neetu Chandra.

The actress explains, “First they tried to seek my attention with smiles and stares, so I acknowledged them. But as I went on with my work, the whole group of men suddenly started feeling ignored and began creating a scene. They did manage to scare me when they started to politicise the issue and scream communal slogans. That was when we had to stop the shoot.”

But now ‘The Man’ has decided to go ahead with the images they managed before the ruckus at the hotel began, raising speculation whether these sensational images will cause further problems when the magazine’s next issue hits the stands in a couple of days.

Amir khan from Bollywod to Hollywood by sify movies

Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan is set to star in his first Hollywood film alongside Oscar-winning actress Kate Winslet, if reports are to be believed.

Aamir Khan and wife Kiran Rao caught Helmed by acclaimed filmmaker Pan Nalin, the film will tell the story of an Indian mental asylum in 1947 during the partition of India. The film is based on a play Toba Tek Singh by Sadat Hasan Manto, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

Winslet is lined up for the film but if she rejects, Nalin has plans to approach actress Rachel Weisz to play the role. "Either Kate or Rachel will be doing my film. I will be meeting both of them after my Cannes trip to finalise the casting. Either of them will be able to do justice to this marvellous story," said Nalin.
Aamir is said to have been impressed with the script and will play the mentally-disabled person.

Hrithik, Barbara's sexy lip-locking scene is hottest gossip in Bollywood by IB times

Mumbai - Bollywood heartthrob Hrithik Roshan and sexy Mexican actress Barbara Mori are being billed as Bollywood's hottest couple these days. Hrithik Roshan (left) and Barbara Mori. Bollywood heartthrob Hrithik Roshan and sexy Mexican actress Barbara Mori are being billed as Bollywood`s hottest couple these days. However, Hrithik's wife Suzanne need not spend sleepless nights. For despite the passionate lip-locking scene between the Indian hunk and the sexy actress, Hrithik maintains that all he was trying to do is make Barbara "comfortable."

"A lot has been said about the kissing scene in Kites but let me tell you the film is not about sex, lust, passion, animal instincts. It is a beautiful sensual love story. As far the kiss is concerned, I was trying my best to make Barbara comfortable while she in return was trying to do the same," Hrithik said, clearing the air about their relationship.

Agrees a source who claims to be a close friend of the Bollywood star. "There is a scene in the movie where both Hrithik and Barbara are supposed to jump from a tall building. During the shooting, Anurag wanted to include a kissing scene before the death-defying stunt. Hrithik agreed and gave Barbara a peck on her cheek. But Barbara would have none of it. 'Given the same situation with your real-life wife, Suzanne, would you kiss her on the cheek?' she told Hrithik who was floored by her logic," the source said.

"Hrithik took a few seconds to recover but realized that Barbara was right. So he immediately hugged her and kissed her on the lips the way real-life couple would do in a similar situation," the source added. When contacted, Hrithik confirmed the incident but said the media blew the whole incident out of proportion. "Barbara was right. However, there is nothing distasteful about the scene. Why are we even talking about kissing? Is that such a big deal? Hasn't our cinema grown up? Yes, there's kissing scenes in the film. But nothing to make me squirm. In fact, I'd be more than happy and completely comfortable watching those kissing scenes with my wife, son and parents when the film is released," Hrithik said.

According to Hrithik, the movie Kites is "a love story" and hence there is nothing unusual about the kissing scene."It's about people in love. And what do people in love do to express their mutual feelings? In fact, it was Barbara Mori who made me realize how silly we look on screen while shying away from expressing love naturally," Hrithik said.

"I wouldn't give any attention to the rumor. It doesn't matter as long as it is something to do with my film. Barbara is a great girl, a great co-star and friend. And I am very proud of my film. If tongues wag, I can't help it. It doesn't matter what people say," the miffed actor said.

secret of happy married life

Once X asked Y, "What is the secret behind your happy married life?"

Y said, "You should share responsibilities with due love and respect to each other. Then absolutely there will be no problems."

X asked, "Can you explain?"

Y said, "In my house, I take decisions on bigger issues where as my wife decides on smaller issues. We do not interfere in each other's decisions."

Still not convinced, X asked Y "Give me some examples"

Y said, "Smaller issues like which car we should buy, how much amount to save, when to visit home town, which Sofa, air conditioner, refrigerator to buy, monthly expenses, whether to keep a maid or not etc are decided by my wife. I just agree to it"

X asked, "Then what is your role?"

Y said, "My decisions are only for very big issues. Like whether America should attack Iraq, whether Britain should lift sanction over Zimbabwe, whether to widen African economy, whether Sachin Tendulkar should retire etc. Do you know one thing, my wife NEVER objects to any of these"

A source reveals, "RA-1 is a superhero flick with special effects, gizmos and gadgets just like in 007's films."
The source adds, "SRK will be going a strict diet and wants to get into a killer shape before he begins shooting for RA-1." The film is slated to go on the floors in September. The project was pushed back due to the surgery SRK had to go through for his shoulder in February.

Akshay kumar arrested over 'obscenity'

MUMBAI (AFP) — Bollywood action hero Akshay Kumar was arrested Monday on suspicion of obscene behaviour during a recent fashion show in Mumbai, police said.
A complaint had been lodged against Kumar and his wife, Twinkle Khanna, after she was photographed unbuttoning a pair of jeans that the actor was modelling on the catwalk at the Lakme Fashion Week in March.
"I can confirm that Akshay Kumar came to Vakola police station (in Mumbai) at 8:30 am with his lawyer and surrendered himself," assistant commissioner of police Arvind Mahdadi told AFP.
"He was arrested under section 294 of Indian Penal Code and was given bail."
Khanna was arrested and bailed last month.
Kumar, 41, has said he did not mean to cause any offence by his actions and apologised.
The arrest came as he returned to India after filming abroad.
"The news blew up when I was away," he joked in an interview with the Hindustan Times newspaper published Monday.
"I just want to make it home from the airport without my car being egged by all those who have never been unbuttoned by their wives."
Kumar was recently seen in the first Hindi-language film to be shot on location in China, "Chandni Chowk to China," which was poorly received by audiences and critics

Golden Temple (Amritsar)

Golden temple or Harmandir Sahib or Hari Mandir in Amritsar, Punjab, is the holiest shrine in Sikhism. Previously (and still more commonly) known as the Golden Temple, it was officially renamed Harmandir Sahib in March 2005.

Introduction
:-
The Harmandir Sahib is considered holy and beautiful by Sikhs because the eternal Guru of Sikhism, the Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, is present inside in it. It is moved to the Sri Akal Takhat Sahib at around 10 PM and then moved back from there to Sri Darbar Sahib at 5 AM. Its construction was mainly intended as a place of worship for men and women from all walks of life and all religions to come and worship God equally. The Sri Guru Granth Sahib is the holiest literature in the Sikh religion, the tenth Guru of Sikhs, Sri Guru Gobind Singh on 7 October 1708 made it the eternal Sikh Guru and the leader of Sikhism.Anywhere in the world where the Guru Granth Sahib is present is equally holy and precious to Sikhs. Harmandir Sahib was built with four doors to show that every religion or faith is allowed to go in to meditate or just listen to the prayers for peace.Construction of the Golden Temple began in 1574 on land donated by the Mughal emperor Akbar. The building project was overseen by the fourth and fifth Sikh Gurus. The temple was completed in 1601, but restoration and embellishment continued over the years.

Construction:-The main structure of Sri Harmandir Sahib, functionally as well as technically is a three-storied one. The front, which faces the bridge, is decorated with repeated cusped arches and the roof of the first floor is at the height of the 26 feet and 9 inches.

At the top of the first floor 4 feet high parapet rises on all the sides which has also four ‘Mamtees’ on the four corners and exactly on the top of the central hall of the main sanctuary rises the third story. It is a small square room and have three gates. A regular recitation of Guru Granth Sahib is also held there.

On the top of this room stands the low fluted ‘Gumbaz’(dome) having lotus petal motif in relief at the base inverted lotus at the top which supports the ‘Kalash’ having a beautiful ‘Chhatri’ at the end.

Sri Harmandir Sahib, is built on a 67ft. square platform in the centre of the Sarovar(tank). The temple itself is 40.5ft. square. It has a door each on the East, West, North and South. The Darshani Deori (an arch) stands at the shore end of the causeway. The door frame of the arch is about 10ft in height and 8ft 6inches in breath. The door panes are decorated with artistic style. It opens on to the causeway or bridge that leads to the main building of Sri Harmandir Sahib. It is 202 feet in length and 21 feet in width.

The bridge is connected with the 13 feet wide ‘Pardakshna’ (circumambulatory path). It runs round the main shrine and it leads to the ‘Har ki Paure’ (steps of God). On the first floor of ‘Har ki Paure’, there is continuous reading of Guru Granth Sahib.

Make My Trip To Amritsar

Exposing Indian media for their double standard view

Hosting Pakistani Flag and burning Indian Flag.

A Kashmiri separatist leader burning the Indian Flag
Indian Flag Burnt in Srinagar
Shame on Indian govtand Mediaalso for not making it Breaking News

The only country of the world, where one can dare to burn the national flag..

All these become the masala breaking news of Indian news channels:

* If Tendulkar cuts the cake which is made to look like national flag, he is condemned.
* If Mandira Bedi wears a saree with the flags of all the countries being portrayed on that, is made to apologies.
* If one cop in Kolkata and one in Bangalore is terminated of his duties for throwing the Indian national flag on ground, by mistake.

Then why double standards:

* During the ongoing Amarnath Sangarsh, Jammuites holding the Indian National Flag and chanting 'Bharat Mata ki Jai' are open fired by the J&K Police on orders from the Police Commissioner(belongs to kashmir). Peaceful protesters are killed.
* Like in case of Amarnath case, people in Kashmir when want to get some demand fulfilled, protest by burning Indian national Flag, hosting Pakistani Flag and chanting 'Hindustan Murdabad, Pakistan Jindabad'. But no body condemns. Infact, all such protest are followed by a team of union ministers visiting Kashmir and immediately sanctioning a few thousand crore rupees for Kashmiris.
* Every year on 14th Aug (Pakistani Indipendence Day), Pakistani flag is hosted every where in Kashmir, including the govt. buildings and on 15th Aug, same people burn the Indian flag.

This only happens in India!!!!

just see d pictures above

Really shame on indian media

who never showsthese pics.........

"Puskar Temple", Only temple of "lord Bramha".

Who is the creater of the world rather say Universe, according in Indian culture,"Lord Bramha". you have heard that there are more than one million Gods in our Indian culture. you have visited to many of the temples of them but have you ever visited to temple of lord Bramha. In the wole world there is only one temple of lord bramha which is situated in"Puskar", Rajasthan. It was constructed in 14th century, and stands on a high plinth with marble steps leading up to it.
Situated on the fringe of the desert and surrounded by hills on three sides, Pushkar is a laid back town. A very important pilgrimage spot for Hindus, Pushkar is famous for its lake. It is believed that Lord Brahma set out on a quest for a tranquil spot to perfom a yagna (ceremonial sacrifice) when a lotus fell from his hand. A lake sprang forth from the ground at the spot where the lotus fell.
Another legend also links Pushkar to Brahma, but in a slightly different manner. A demon Vajra Nabh had become quite a nuisance for the people on Earth, and the Creator of the Universe Brahma decided to put an end to him. Brahma floated down to terra firma on his lotus and slew Vajra Nabh with a lotus blossom. The petals landed on the ground and three beautiful lakes gushed out of the ground. Brahma then performed a yagna attended by all the gods and goddesses.
However, there’s a catch to this story. Brahma’s wife Saraswati was busy elsewhere and couldn’t make it to the yagna. Now since the presence of a wife was crucial for the ceremony, Brahma maried a maiden called Gayatri. Saraswati, like most wives, couldn’t stomach her husband being stolen by someone else and promptly flew into a rage, cursing Brahma that he would never be worshipped at any other place other than at Pushkar. As the curse took effect the moment it was uttered and couldn’t be revoked, the Brahma temple in Pushkar is the only one in the world where Brahma is worshipped, although His statues do exist in various parts of India.

Puskar cattle fare:-
A massive cattle fair occurs in October and November around the lake which is also famous for its crocodiles – which, simply put, means that if you get in you might not get out! The Pushkar Fair, as the cattle fair is commonly known, attracts thousands of people from all over the country who come to trade and watch cart and camel races. A full moon means its time to take a holy dip in the lake in places where the crocs aren’t around. The `loading of the camel’ is a very popular event in which a camel is made to sit down while as many riders as is possible – plus a few more – happily climb onto the poor animal and go for a ride. Camel polo is another hit with the people, although its technique and expertise would embarass any decent horse polo buff.

Each year during Kartik Purnima around 200,000 people flock to Pushkar for the camel Fair, with 50,000 camels and cattle accompanying them. For livestock traders, this is a pretty serious affair, and many travel hundreds of kilometers with the sole intention of getting a good price for their cattle. While the fair is in progress, a mini tent city springs up near the lake, seemingly appearing out of nowhere and disappearing as soon as the festival ends, only to reappear a year later.
This fair is held at Pushkar town, 11 km from Ajmer in Rajasthan for twelve days annually. This cultural and trade cum religious fair is an attractive and lively spectacle with Rajasthani men and women in their colourful traditional attire, saffron-robed and ash smeared Sadhus (holy men) and thousands of bulls, cows, sheep, goats, horses and camels in richly decorated saddles. Perhaps the largest cattle fair in the world, it attracts more than one lakh people, from all over Rajasthan as well as tourists from different parts of India and abroad.
Trading of cattle, camel races and dazzling displays of bangles, brassware, clothes, camel saddles and halters make the fair colourful. Necklaces of glass beads from Naguar, pottery, printed textiles from Jodhpur and Ajmer are all on sale here. Farmers, cattle traders and breeders buy and sell their animals, leather whips, saddles etc. There are facilities for camel rides also. This livestock fair coincides with the climaxing of a religious celebration. Pushkar is among the five main places of pilgrimage mentioned in the Hindu scriptures. It has a large number of temples including one of the only two temples dedicated to Lord Brahma in India. Hundreds of thousands of devotees take a ritual dip in the holy Pushkar Lake on the day of the Kartik Purnima (full moon night of the Kartika month) and worship at the Brahma temple (Jagat Pita Shri Brahma Mandir). Pilgrims flock from all over India to be in Pushkar at this auspicious time. They also believe that all the 330 million Gods and Goddesses are present at Pushkar Lake during the occasion.

Puskar Lake:-
Anything even remotely related to Pushkar Lake has a halo of sacredness and divinity. Legend has it that a dip in its waters cleanses all the sins and is the surest way to achieve salvation from the cycles of life. Circled by some five hundred odd temples, the lake has 52 ghats, which connect the temples to the water. These ghats were constructed by the rulers of the different erstwhile princely states of Rajasthan and some of them are aptly named after the states.
Prominent among the ghats are Gau Ghat, Brahma Ghat and Varah Ghat. Also called Main Ghat, Gau Ghat is the place from which ashes of Mahatma Gandhi were sprinkled into the lake. Brahma Ghat is believed to be the spot where Brahma himself is said to have worshipped. The Varah Ghat is famed to be the place where Vishnu, the preserver of the Hindu Trinity, appeared in the form of Varaha (a boar), third in the line of his nine incarnations. It is advisable for the visitors, who travel to the Pushkar lake, not to take photos and to remove their shoes before going to the ghats.

mother's day

Hi maa, wish you a very "happy mother's day". When ever i became senti i call my mom "Maa". The modern Mother's Day holiday was created by "Anna Jarvis" as a day for each family to honor its mother, and it's now celebrated on various days in many places around the world. It complements Father's Day, the celebration honoring fathers.

This holiday is relatively modern, being created at the start of the 20th century, and should not be confused with the early pagan and Christian traditions honoring mothers, or with the 16th century celebration of Mothering Sunday, which is also known as Mother's Day in the UK.
thanks maa.

Pokemon

Anyway, sekarang aku mau cerita sedikit tentang sejarah Pokemon.
