Madonna and David continued their tour of Malawi this week by visiting a day care center in Masekese.
She seems to be enjoying herself but evidently her whole trip isn't going exactly as planned.
She had been planning to meet with Nelson Mandela but he refused her invitation and she's said to be "devastated.
" After seeing her here that's obviously a bit of an exaggeration. Her rep denies the whole thing saying Madonna "never planned to meet him.
She'd be honored, I'm sure. But she's focusing on Malawi. South Africa is Oprah's territory." We're sure Madonna is just happy enough helping out where she can.
