FOX Sports West returns for their 12th season as the official local television broadcast partner of the Galaxy. For the first time in network history, FOX Sports West along with sister station PRIME TICKET, will broadcast all 18 of the Galaxy’s 30 regular season games in high definition. The first FOX Sports West HD telecast will be delivered on April 10, the club’s first road trip of the season, and rematch of the 2009 Western Conference Championship against the Houston Dynamo at Robertson Stadium.The broadcasting duo of Jim Watson (play-by-play) and Mark Rogondino (analyst) return to the FOX Sports West booth for their fourth consecutive season of calling all the Galaxy action, while Jackie Pickering is back for her third season providing sideline reporting for all home games from The Home Depot Center. Galaxy Live also returns to the line-up, providing live pregame coverage before all home and road telecasts. An informative and entertaining extension of each game on FOX Sports West and PRIME TICKET, Galaxy Live offers viewers an inside look at all of the latest and most up-to-date news surrounding the Galaxy, as well as a series of behind the scenes features that give fans a greater look into the lives of their favorite Galaxy players.
The Galaxy’s two radio partners from the 2008 and 2009 seasons also return for the 2010 campaign, with ESPN Deportes Radio KWKW 1330 AM scheduled to broadcast all 30 of the club’s regular season games and AM 570 KLAC scheduled to broadcast 24 games.
Rounding out the Galaxy’s broadcast partners is AM 570 KLAC, one of the leaders in sports talk radio throughout Southern California. The station, along with sister station KTLK 1150 AM, will air 24 of the Galaxy’s 30 regular season games in 2010, as well as a postgame show after every broadcast. Joe Tutino returns for a 13th season as the radio voice of the Galaxy, with former Galaxy assistant coach Ralph Perez returning to join Tutino as the commentator for all Galaxy home games. The remaining six games that will not be broadcast on AM 570 KLAC or KTLK 1150 AM will be streamed live on lagalaxy.com.
