Dog lover Drew Barrymore comes out to show her love of the canine breed at the Much Love Animal Rescue pet adoption event in Malibu, Calif. on Saturday afternoon.
Drew, 31, and a female friend grabbed drinks and chatted up a storm shortly thereafter.
On Feb. 18, 2001, her Yellow Lab mutt Flossie had saved Drew and her then husband Tom Green just in time to escape a devastating fire.
At around 3AM, the dog barked and “literally banged on their bedroom door.”
The Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore romantic comedy Music and Lyrics finished in fourth place, opening with $14 million this past weekend.
