Famous for his roles in mob movies such as ‘Goodfellas,’ actor Ray Liotta has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after crashing his car into two parked vehicles in Los Angeles. Yes… he hit parked cars!
The AP reported that Liotta, 52, was arrested at around 8.30 p.m. on Saturday February 17th. The actor was booked on a misdemeanor DUI charge, said Los Angeles Police spokesman Mike Lopez.
No one was injured in the collision in Pacific Palisades. Liotta was alone in his car, Lopez said.
Lopez also stated that an initial hearing has been scheduled for March 19th. This date comes just two weeks after the March 5th premiere of Liotta’s new film, ‘Wild Hogs’. Liotta co-stars with Tim Allen and John Travolta in the road-trip comedy.
Liotta’s publicist, Matt Labov, has yet to comment on the actor’s arrest.
