Kylie Minogue and her French actor boyfriend Olivier Martinez have issued a joint statement to confirm they are in fact broken up:
“Olivier Martinez and Kylie Minogue have officially confirmed that they are no longer a couple.
“They have made it clear that the decision to go their separate ways was mutual and amicable.
“The media’s false accusations of disloyalty have saddened them both. The two remain very close friends.”
The news of the break up comes in the wake of rumours that Olivier had been trying to force breast cancer survivor Kylie’s hand into initiating the break up by cheating on her. Israeli model Sarai Givati at been seen visiting Martinez at his hotel room in Paris and Lost’s Michelle Rodriguez was seen leaving his hotel room at 9.40am the next morning after having dinner with him the previous night.
Olivier was rumoured to be having an affair with Givati in December which almost caused the two to split back then. He was also seen kissing Rodriguez in Hollywood 2 years ago but has denied ever having a relationship with her. Sources close to Martinez had said:
“They’re at loggerheads”
After her successful battle with cancer she had described Martinez as the:
“most honourable man I have ever met”.
