Torrential downpours came through Boston today, forcing the guys to stay inside at the hotel for most of the dy and flooding some of the streets around the team hotel in Cambridge. As a result, the team was slightly delayed in arriving at Gillette Stadium, but everyone is here safe and sound, ready to take on the Revs.
Thanks to today's rains, the temperatures are far cooler than they had been throughout the week, setting the stage for another exciting night. The Galaxy will be in search of their 12th win of the season, matching their total from 2009 when they won the Western Conference and Bruce Arena will make two changes to the team that beat Seattle 3-1 on Sunday night in their last league game in order to achieve that feat. Omar Gonzalez is suspended and Landon Donovan is rested for the game, bringing the Brazilian duo of Alex Cazumba and Leonardo back into the team.
