Eva Mendes Burns Up ‘Ghost Rider’

Eva Mendes attends the world premiere of Ghost Rider with co-star Nicolas Cage (and his wife Alice Kim) at NYC’s Regal E-Walk and after-party at Marquee on Thursday night.

So far, Ghost Rider has mustered up a measly 23% on Rotten Tomatoes. Here are some of my fave quotes from the reviews:

* “This Rider doesn’t go down so easy.” — Sci-Fi Weekly
* “Ghost Rider is a comic fan’s celluloid nightmare. Jokey to a fault and weighty as newsprint, it lives down to the negative attributes attached to the comic book film tag.” — Reel Times
* “A good way of describing the overly dull Ghost Rider would be to compare it to the excellent God of War. Take God of War, strip it of it’s impressive visuals, remove all the weapons bar one and throw in a sub rate bike section and there you have it, Ghost Rider in all its lifeless glory. ” — IGN
* “What begins as a standard-yet-watchable superhero adventure slowly congeals into something approaching the caliber of Catwoman. Not as bad, but kinda knocking on the doorstep.” — Cinematical
