My makeup was half done here, didn't put on lipstick or mascara yet
About a year ago I was on the search for the perfect foundation. I tried a couple but they all ended being fails. Finally I headed to Sephora and got matched for the HD foundation. It has been love ever since! I got matched for a 175 (dark skin with coral undertones), the color looks a little dark in person in the winter but it is the perfect color match for me in the summer. If you wear an NC 50 in Mac this color should work for you, it is just a little less yellow. They have a wide range of colors and undertones so most people should be able to find a match!
This foundation retails at 40$ for 1.01 oz.
From the website:
HD Invisible Cover Foundation What it is:
An oil-free medium-to-full-coverage liquid foundation that covers skin imperfections flawlessly while remaining invisible on-screen and in real life.
What it does:
This foundation creates a soft-focus effect, which is designed to meet the coverage concerns of those in the spotlight. It leaves your complexion with such a flawless finish, it can withstand bright or harsh lighting.I highly recommend atleast trying this foundation. It is a little pricey but it looks beautiful on camera and provides full coverage that is semi matte and last all day. The biggest selling point of this foundation is how it appears on camera, it does not look obvious like many many foundations do when photographed. The foundation also does not oxidize which is a problem Ive had with others in the past, and has not caused any breakouts. I also like that the foundation comes with a pump. I usually pump some out and apply it with my 187 brush. |
