Blackburn have released Pascal Chimbonda and are also about to tear El-Hadj Diouf's contract up.
Chimbonda's form has not been the best recently while Blackburn cannot seem to cope with Diouf's indiscipline.
There will no be shortage of buyers though.
Chimbonda nearly signed for West Ham in the summer. The 31 year old had a few good seasons prior to this season.
As for Diouf, he may not be everyone's cup of tea but he is clearly talented. Fulham and West Ham are both considering to sign him while Turkish clubs are also lining up offers.
It is actually very strange that the Indian owners at Blackburn have released them when they could have made at least £4m had they put the duo for sale.
Could it be a decision linked to the inexperience of the new owners and the new manager?
