Juninho's long range strike against Seattle on July 4 is one of 30 goals that have been nominated for the AT&T Goal of the Year award while Donovan Ricketts' reflex save off Columbus forward Steven Lenhart's close range header on May 29 is one of 30 nominees for the NAPA Save of the Year award.

The Save of the Year award debuted in 2009 and no Galaxy player has ever won it, while Juninho is looking to become the third Galaxy player to win the Goal of the Year award, joining Landon Donovan who claimed the prize last year for his curling, left-footed volley at New England and Carlos Ruiz who won the award in 2002.
